Looking back: Folliamala's first painting workshop - an inspiring experience
Yesterday afternoon, five enthusiastic participants experienced Folliamala's first painting necklace workshop - an afternoon full of creativity, knowledge and relaxation. The workshop took place in a lovingly designed room that created a harmonious atmosphere with soft candlelight and gentle mantra music.
The meaning of gemstones: discovering energetic diversity
We, the three founders of Folliamala, guided the participants through the workshop with passion and expertise. We explained the individual properties and symbolic meaning of the gemstones used to make mala necklaces. The stones used included, among others:
- Rainbow jade for balance
- Moonstone for intuition
- Chalcedony for inner peace
- Amethyst for clarity
- Quartz for healing
Each stone has a unique energy and supports personal goals such as clarity, harmony and self-healing.
Creative design: The knotting of the painting chains
After an introduction to the meaning of gemstones, the participants were given practical instructions on how to create their own personalised mala necklace. They intuitively chose the stones that appealed to them the most and used them to create unique designs. It was impressive to see how each participant created a mala necklace that was not only beautiful, but also reflected her personality and desires.
Energetic initiation and meditation
After the painting necklaces were completed, they were purified with sage smoke and symbolically consecrated. Afterwards, each participant had the opportunity to try out her new necklace during a short meditation led by Claudia. A personal mantra was recited to activate the energy of the stones and deepen the meditation.
Culinary delights and a shared exchange
Another highlight of the afternoon was the delicious buffet that we had lovingly prepared. The participants fortified themselves with tasty snacks and tea in between and took the opportunity to chat to each other. This culinary delight also contributed to the warm, cosy atmosphere of the workshop.
A successful conclusion and outlook
After four intensive hours, all participants were proud of their unique, self-designed colouring necklaces. They not only learnt the art of knotting, but also how intuition and creativity can create something personal and unique.
This workshop was also a valuable and inspiring experience for us as course leaders. We would like to thank all participants for their openness and enthusiasm.
Next workshops planned
The positive feedback and the beaming faces of the participants motivate us to organise further events soon. Painting chain workshops to offer. Stay tuned - we look forward to welcoming you back to Folliamala soon!
